Three nabbed in Santhosh murder case

PARAVOOR: The police on Friday night nabbed the three accused in the murder of hotelier Sathosh. The accused were identified as Anoop, 20, son of Aboobaker, Kanjiraparambil, Vedimara; Sabeer, 19, son of Yousef Thoppilparambil, Vedimara and Suresh, 26, son of Parameswaran Pulimoottilparambil, Karuchira, Karumaloor.
The police are on the search of one more accused, Shinoj, son of Abdulkader, Kalakattukaral, Chalakudy.
All the accused were involved in sand mafia. They served as informers to lorry drivers who transport sand illegally.
Kalathiparambil Santhosh, 35, the proprietor of Miami Fast Food Hotel in Paravoor, was stabbed to death in his hotel by a four-member gang on Tuesday.The assailants escaped after the attack. The police were forced to impose prohibition order under Police Act following the murder.The police team led by Deputy SP E T Mathew, CIs P P Raveendran and Salimkumar, SI M K Binukumar, under the personal supervision of SP M Wahab.According to CI Salimkumar, the accused Sabeer had a scuffle with deceased Santhosh following a dispute over a glass of tea.
Another accused Anoop stormed into the hotel and attacked Santhosh. Anoop stabbed Santhosh to death.The accused escaped in two motorbikes to Vedimara area after the attack.Acting on a clue, the police caught Anoop and Sabeer from the house of Anoop’s aunt, at Eramam in Muppathadam. The police raided the house of Suresh at Karumaloor and nabbed him as well.The accused were remanded in judicial custody when they were produced before the Judicial First Class Magistrate here on Saturday evening.
