Anti-terrorism conference by Sangh Parivar in Ayodhya

An anti-terrorism conference will be organised by some sangh parivar groups in Ayodhya on February 19.  The organiser of the conference is a shiv sena leader, Santosh Dubey. He said invitations have been sent to many prominent political and religious leaders to attend the conference. One of the key speake of the event is Pravin Togadia, the general secretary of VHP.

In a press conference held on 14th December, 2002 at Jaipur Dr. Togadia stated “We will make a laboratory of the whole country. This is our promise and our resolve. If madrasas, the jehadi laboratory, are allowed to educate to kill non-Muslims. Why can’t we have our own laboratory? I cannot waste even two days in building the laboratory. Rajasthan has already become the laboratory of Hindutva…The people of Gujarat have paid their tribute to the Ram Bhaktas of Godhra. Gujarat has become the graveyard of secular ideology and we will extend it to Delhi via Jaipur.” ( Hindustan Times, 16.12.2002)

Among those likely to attend the conference are former union minister Prahlad Patel — also a close confidante of expelled BJP leader Uma Bharti, UP Congress leader Pramod Tiwari, national general secretary of Samajwadi Party Ram Gopal Yadav, former UP Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Kalyan Singh and hindutva firebrand VHP general secretary Pravin Togadia.

Besides these leaders BJP MP from Gorakhpur Yogi Adityanath and UP minister Harishankar Tiwari, are expected to participate at the conference. Security personnel who foiled the July five, 2005 mysterious  strike at Babri Masjid site, will also be honoured by sangh parivar on the occasion.
