KOLLAM: Ravindran, the accused in the Panmana Ashram attack case, was granted bail the other day by the Karunagappally Judicial First Class Magistrate M. Manoj.
Following the orders of the court, the accused was brought to the court on February 17 from the Thiruvananthapuram mental hospital where he was undergoing treatment. Advocate K. Velayudhan Pillai moved the bail plea the next day.
Ravindran has been charged with damaging the hands of the idol of goddess Lakshmi installed at the entrance of the Panmana Ashram.
