NEW DELHI, MAR 13 (PTI)
Police evacuated offices of Sangh mouthpieces Panchjanya and Organiser after a threat to blow them up, but found no explosives in their almost half-an-hour search.
Additional DCP (Central) Alok Kumar told PTI that the threat call received by an offical of the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) housed in the same building at Jhandewalan appeared to be a prank.
"Such calls are usually made to the police control room. Somebody, who could be involved in some case pending with the DRT, may have played a mischief," he said.
Police and bomb disposal experts, however, searched the two offices for half-an-hour, but found no explosives, Kumar added.
The Panchjanya building is adjacent to the RSS’s Keshav Kunj office in Delhi.
