Private airlines owe Rs 22 cr to Airports Authority of India

 • Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel told the Lok Sabha on Thursday that private airlines owe more than Rs 22 crore as outstanding dues to Airports Authority of India. As per his statement, the private airlines that have dues as on March 31, 2006 in respect of Delhi Airport are Jet Airways (Rs 687.40 lakh), Sahara (Rs 221.24 lakh), Air Deccan (223.61), Spice Jet (32.81 lakh) and Kingfisher Airlines (Rs 79.38 lakh) among others.
