Kochi: The Kerala High Court today dismissed a writ petition seeking re-investigation by CBI into the Kozhikode 'Ice Cream Parlour sex case.' Dismissing the petition by Jameela Mankavu, a Division Bench, comprising Chief Justice V K Bali, and Justice Kurian Joseph, observed that there is no material on record that may suggest any favour done to former Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty.
Proper remedy is to make a protest application before the Court concerned.The Court also observed that there is no merit in the petition.
The state government informed that the trial of the case was over,the accused had been acquitted by the trial court and revision was pending before the High Court.
