PARALAKHEMUNDI, June 2: A massive rally was organised by the Adivasi Dalita Bikas Samiti, a CPI-M wing, here recently.
The state secretary, Mr Janardhan Pati, addressed the tribals and lambasted the UPA and the BJD-BJP government for the failure of rural development programmes as well as the Annapurna and Antyodaya rice schemes.
The district secretary of the CPI-M, Mr L Ram Gopal Rao, in his speech, said the party was dedicated to the tribals’ cause and the backward people.
The success of the Left parties in the elections held recently was a proof that the policy and the ideology of the CPI-M were being accepted by the common men. The state secretary of the Adivasi Dalit Bikas, Mr Samity Sambar Sabar and the district secretary of the Srikakulam CPI-M, Chiudhry Tejaswar Rao, also spoke.
