Coimbatore, July 3 (PTI): Arguments in the 1998 serial bomb blast cases began in the Special Court here today, as the trial entered the final phase.

The commencement of arguments followed examination of witnesses. Over 1,500 witnesses have already been examined in the case in which leaders of proscribed Al Uma and Abdul Nasser Mahdhani of Kerala based PDP, are the main accused.
