IANS correspondent, Imran Khan wins Ford fellowship

Patna – IANS correspondent Imran Khan has been selected as a fellow of the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Programme (IFP).

Khan, 37, is working as a principal correspondent of the news agency and is based in Patna.

Under the fellowship programme, he will pursue two-year higher studies on media and society with special reference to the ‘Role of Media in Pluralist Society like India and its Impact’ in any top university across the world.

The IFP provides opportunities for advanced study to exceptional individuals who will use this education to become leaders in their respective fields, furthering development in their own countries and greater economic and social justice worldwide.
