Kota 30 Dec. National Confederation of Human rights organizations (NCHRO) organized a Get -together in Kota, Rajasthan. In this get -together Eminent Human Rights activists expressed their deep concerns on Anti people laws like UAPA & AFSPA.
Dr. Manisha Sheti, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi, demanded the repeal of these anti people laws. These kinds of laws are bringing lot of distress to the common people and misused by the Law enforcing forces, Dr. Sheti said. Ahmed Shoeb, General Secretary, Jamia Teachers Solidarity, also demanded the repeal of these anti people.Such kind of anti people laws should exist in a democratic country, he told.
NCHRO activist Ansarul Haque told that these acts like UAPA, is used to harass the minorities, especially Muslim. Eminent Human Rights activists like Dr Akhlaq, Adv Akhtar Akela, Muslim Khan and Nusrat Jahan, Mateen Ahmed, Amar Singh Rana were present in the programme
