NCHRO Kerala Chapter conducted a training workshop on Human Rights on 09-March-2019 at Aluva, Ernakulam district, Kerala. The general objective of the training workshop is to build the capacity of human rights activists, aware of the importance of their role in the fight against impunity, to enhance their ability to engage effectively in the society.
Human rights education constitutes an essential contribution to the long-term prevention of human rights abuses and represents an important investment in the endeavour to achieve a just society in which all human rights of all persons are valued and respected hence this workshop and learning activities constitutes an important investment for the future.
NCHROs’ Human Rights Training Program has helped to create human rights leaders who are playing critical roles in making their countries better places to live for the most vulnerable and marginalized.
